This Trust is dedicated to supporting charitable causes. The Himalayan Kingdom Foundation Trust (HKFT) is ecumenical in nature and committed to the cause of Peace with a priority to promote poverty reduction programmes in Nepal. HKFT supports projects that are designed to benefit the educational, social, medical, artistic and spiritual needs of the Nepalese people.

Funded privately, the Trust has promoted a number of income generating programmes (notably through internet sales) and is now self-funded.

In terms of helping others, HKFT's new policy could not be clearer: its focus is on helping those people - here in Nepal - WHO ARE WILLING TO HELP THEMSELVES.
